some days I just dont get how people can ignore it

i dont understand how people can buy their cheap, tortured meat and not take into account where it is coming from. As a premeditation of comments about food deserts please reference my other post about it.

Seriously though, 99% of meat is factory farmed, filled with antibiotics and the animals are fed horrible diets, subjected to the worst conditions possible and killed in the most horrific ways possible.

If that is not enough motivation to make a different culinary choice, what is?

Its not just that meat is utterly inefficient and a waste of food crops, its that the whole system is subjecting every single one of us to more disease and contributing more than the entire transportation of the entire world does to global warming.

is palette really a big enough motivator to subscribe to this? even silence makes you complicit in supporting the most disgusting transnational ag corporations imaginable.
